Each of the states offer opportunities to learn to surf.

Queensland

Popular spots to learn to surf in Queensland include Surfers paradise just south of brisbane on the Gold Coast, along with Burleigh Heads and Kirra. The Sunshine Coast (north of Brisbane) has surfing opportunities at Caloundra and Maroochydore. Further north Noosa is a great learn to surf spot with several good surf schools. New South Wales

You are never far from the surf if you are on the coast of New South Wales. There are many good surf beaches with surf schools around Sydney, including Manly, Bondi, Dee Why, Narrabeen and Avalon.
